Global Schools Foundation (GSF) launched the Global Indian Mahatma Gandhi Centre for Universal Values, in all GIIS campuses to effectively instill universal values in a measurable way amongst students for complete development of mind and body by using innovative processes and a series of symposia, workshop, interactions and exhibitions organized from time to time.
Every campus of GIIS has the statue of the great Mahatma, whose values and thoughts are more relevant today than ever before in the history of this world. The centre displays autobiographical literature on Mahatma Gandhi and other reading materials related to universal values. The Centre is mentored by Dr. Justice C.S. Dharmadhikari, President & Co-Founder, GSF.
For our children to be ready as global citizens, and to take up global challenges, they need to be fully versed with aspects of universal values which will give them a thorough understanding of sensitivities across the globe and transform them into better human being. Compassion, respect for others, empathy, forgiveness, integrity and other virtuous qualities essential for peace are motivated by the human heart and spirit. This innate spirituality is an essential part of every person’s life and the basis of fundamental truths; universal principles and values that all people acknowledge.
